Yeah, I finished the crazy project which is completely sewn by hand - including a warm polar fabric lining. (The only things I've sewn so far have been tablecloths and cushions and I waited 2 yrs for a part of my machine.) I used this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rguHHZFR-k0 for the pattern.

My hand-sewn #newsboyCap could be soon finished. I wanted to use this braid to cover stitches but I don't like the colour combination on the photo. In reality, it's greener. Is it "too much"? Or the violet?

I'm glad that I didn't finish it with the machine, fixing the parts on the shield was hard work for the needle.

All the fabrics, including the polar fabric lining, were rescued from worn-out garments.

I like the #PeakyBlinders chic, it's becoming cold, and for a journalist it could be a must 🤭 I'm working on the last steps of my fully hand-made (without machine) #newsboyCap. I used this tutorial (one of the best forms, and it really works for the pattern).
I made it with fabric waste only and will show you the results later. I'll be able to sew the next ones on the repaired machine.
