Ganz allgemein würde mich als Laie interessieren: die Freischaltung der <Entwickleroptionen> geht konkret mit welchen Vor- und Nachteilen einher?
wolf@coba schade, dass der Clip da abbricht, wo die Musik beginnt. Es bewegt mich oft sehr, wenn ich Afrikanische Musik dieser Art höre.
PS: Zum Übersetzungsproblem:
Ja YT (Google) nutzt seine Monopolstellung, um solche Übersetzungen aufzuoktroieren, die KI will genutzt werden…
Individuell kannst Du das und andere YT-Probleme aber wunderbar lösen, indem Du nicht direkt deren Website oder gar Apps nutzt. MIt Tools wie #Freetube oder #Newpipe kann man sich ja nicht nur dem Tracking weitestgehend entziehen, sondern ist auch die lästige Werbung los. Selbstverständlich kommt da auch keine maschinell übersetzte Fassung sondern das Original.

I’m new to newpipe and I’m going to ask a question that about 80% of y’all are going to freak out over, but I can’t find the answer anywhere else. I want to watch YouTube Shorts without ads but with the same sort of interface as Shorts. I’ve subscribed to my favorite creators in newpipe, but I can’t find a section where I can flip through Shorts as a single feed. I currently have to click into each creator to see their Shorts tabs. Does newpipe have a Shorts feed setting that I’m missing? And before you bother commenting: Yes I’m a degenerate. Yes long-form is ‘better’. You’re all right. I don’t care that my brain is rotted. Let me wallow in my filth. Preferably without ads.
In september, Android is going to lock up. Newpipe is not going to keep working. What wil be your alternative then?
Louis@alainmi11 j'utilise aussi exclusivement #Newpipe et #Freetube depuis des années, et quand ponctuellement je vais sur YouTube car la lecture est bloquée dans Freetube (ça arrive de temps en temps puis un patch résout le soucis), j'ai UblockOrigin et une autre extension qui m'épargnent les pubs.. On en oublie que tout ça existe!
