the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade gives me flashbacks to being forced to glue chrysanthemums to cardboard in a freezing leaking warehouse. This forced child labor was a requirement for kids taking AP courses in the 80s.
(now that I think about it, mumming was the good job, gluing status was the worst)
