NVDA 2026.1.1 is now available! This is a patch release to fix security issues. A bug fix is also included for an issue introduced in 2026.1 with how ctrl+f is handled in File Explorer. A change introduced in 2026.1 with how NVDA handles connection issues with Remote Access was removed.

FediSuite v1.4.1 is out.

Three new things in the Optimize tab:

• A new heatmap shows you in 15-minute steps when your posts generally perform best, regardless of the day of the week. Useful if your audience is more active by time of day than by weekday.
• The algorithm handles outliers better now. Before, a single viral post in an otherwise empty slot could end up looking like your best posting time. The heatmap now uses median instead of mean, and cells with too little data are quietly greyed out so they don't get mistaken for hotspots.
• The color scale is now Viridis. It's perceptually uniform, which means no more visual jumps where the underlying values barely differ, and it stays readable for people with red-green color blindness. Light and dark mode are still up to you.

• Added server-side pagination for the Beiträge view so the frontend now loads only the currently requested post page on demand, including pagination metadata and loading states while entries are being fetched.
• Added matching server-side pagination for the admin user list so the Registrierte Nutzer table now loads only the requested page on demand and shows loading states during page changes.
• Added server-side search for the admin user list with a live search field in the Registrierte Nutzer header, so matching users are narrowed down progressively by email address or ID while typing.
• Added server-side search for the Beiträge view with a live search field in the list header, so posts are narrowed down progressively by content, title, account or ID while typing.
• Added an admin-only update check against the published Docker Hub tags, including a cached backend version lookup, a dismissible bottom-right popup for available updates and a persistent update notice box inside the admin area whenever the running instance version is older than the latest published image version.

Fixed

• Unified the main content width below the global admin notice across the app and admin area so pages such as composer, postings, accounts, settings and system administration now align to the same outer width as the notice banner.
• Reduced the Beiträge pagination page size to 15 entries and removed the internal scroll container from the post list so paging no longer competes with a nested scrollbar.
