Late to the party, but I am enjoying #NewStarGP quiet a lot. For 10 euros, it's a steal.

首都高はさておき、マリオカートではない車を走らせてみたくなったので『GP Club Life : モータースポーツチーム』を買ってみました。いくつか作品候補を絞って検索したら、これがちょうど値引き中だったので…。（地域に依って題名が異なり、『New Star GP』として検索した方が得られる情報が多い。）

ドライバーの名前をどうするか決めかねたまま最初の設定を進めてしまって、いつの間にか個人名「THE」、家族名「KID」が当てがわれていた。容姿とかは変更できるのに名前は変えられないっぽい…。

Before I had kids I would happily spend 4+ hours playing that years #F1 game. I'd do the full weekend. Very few assists, no rewinds; practice, qualifying and then the race. I loved it.

After kids? No chance.

So to scratch the itch I've been playing some #NewStarGP on my Steamdeck and yeah, it's pretty great.

Obviously a lot more arcady than the Codemasters games, but it's got that thrilling sense of 'hold on, if I mess this corner up by an inch I'm eating the wall' and I can't get enough.

A fresh update to New Star GP adds a Hot Lap mode to the game on PC, with console versions getting access shortly, along with some other fixes and improvements.
And there's also a 40% discount on the game via Steam until June 16th...

Been playing #newstarGP on my own and with my son in split screen coach play. It’s an excellent game for the switch. Thoroughly recommended.
