like a morbillion years ago i had an idea for a social media type thing and like i wonder if i should try to make it real. the idea was to be more of what i liked better about tumblr than reddit, and to try to use psychological tricks to make you not get addicted, and also to achieve complex functionality from simple parts which is of course the best kind of complexity, and also to have swag.

now that i know about fediverse i could maybe try to make it integrate with that, which would partially solve the "no users" and "no funding" problems.

i will elaborate on my specific ideas if asked.
