The transition needs to be economic, because some poorer countries rely on fossil fuels to service their debt. So debt cancellation is part of the package.

I read the Draghi report so you don't have to. The upshot: bold in policy proposals, but most of the high-level analysis is based on GDP being a reliable indicator of human well-being. Since it is not, there is a GIGO problem.
