Schiavi ridotti in povertà assoluta.

Slave workers for the American consulate. Carabinieri raid.

AGI - A workforce “bought” for 500,000 rupees (just over 4,500 euros), that an agency with headquarters in New Delhi received to send workers to Italy to be used on scaffolding, to be used in the construction site, to be exploited for grueling shifts. Weekly rest reduced to a minimum, working hours prolonged beyond what was permitted, and wages far removed from collective agreements. Slaves reduced to absolute poverty.

Behind the scaffolding of the new and imposing headquarters of the General Consulate of the United States of America on Accursio Square, in Milan, a system of modern labor trafficking was hidden. Carabinieri (military police) of the Labor Inspectorate, on the delegation of prosecutors Paolo Storari and Mauro Clerici, triggered an urgent check against the Italian division of Caddell Construction, a major construction company tasked with carrying out the public works project. And the checks revealed a widespread exploitation of labor.

Conditions of Exploitation
The workers, deprived of basic rights, were “exploited through the blatant and repeated violation of regulations regarding working hours, rest periods, weekly rest, and through the receipt of wages clearly contrary to collective bargaining.”

Workers Involved
The price paid for this system of submission is being paid by workers and carpenters, mostly of Indian origin. The picture emerged from the investigations is ruthless: “after being hired” through an agency with headquarters in New Delhi at a cost of approximately 500,000 rupees, “they were brought, through a temporary assignment, to Italy to carry out the American Consulate in Milan, where they were exploited by receiving wages clearly different from the collective agreement and significantly below the poverty line.”

The Expeditors: "The probability that war will resume between Iran and the US is low."

AGI - The chances of a renewed war between the US and Iran are “low.” This was stated to the Tasnim agency by Mohammad Akbarzadeh, the deputy chief political officer of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s Guardians.
Tehran: “Unlikely a new war between Iran and the US”
“The possibility of a war is low due to the weakness of the enemy, the armed forces are in ambush with full reserves,” Akbarzadeh declared. In the event of a resumption of hostilities, the official of the pasdaran added, “do not doubt that we will transform the area from Chabahar to Mahshahr, two locations at the extremes of the long southern coast of Iran, into a cemetery for the aggressors.”
Indian Sailors Freed Detained in Iran
Ten Indian sailors, detained in Iran since July 2025, have been released. The Indian maritime authorities announced this.
The sailors, aboard the MV Harbour Phoenix, had been “detained, arrested and imprisoned in Iran after the ship was intercepted near the port of Jask in July 2025,” the Indian Maritime Authority said in a statement. “They have been released and are safe.” “Coordination is underway on the necessary arrangements so that the crew members can return to India as soon as possible,” the authority concluded.
Iran regularly announces the interception of ships, accusing them of illegally transporting fuel in the Gulf. New Delhi and Tehran maintain diplomatic and energy relations, but India also has strong ties with the United States and Israel. New Delhi has not provided details on the reason for the arrest or the vessel, which, according to maritime monitoring websites, is a tanker flying a Palau flag.
China Calls for a Ceasefire
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi reiterated Beijing’s call for respect for a ceasefire in the Middle East and expressed the hope that the United States and Iran would seek a compromise. The state agency Xinhua reported this. “We hope that the parties involved will remain determined to seek a ceasefire and continue to seek common ground so that peace can return to the Middle East as soon as possible,” the minister said, cited by the agency.

Iran-US Agreement, Rubio: “Possible already today”. Tehran denies: “Not an imminent signature”

(Adnkronos) - An agreement to end the war with Iran could materialize “today.” “We thought we had some news yesterday evening, perhaps today, but I wouldn’t put too much weight on it.” These were the words of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, emphasizing: “We have on the table something that I consider quite solid in terms of the ability to open the Strait of Hormuz,” he said to journalists while leaving New Delhi, in India, where he was on an official visit, according to the Times of Israel. And he expressed confidence that Iran “will initiate a very concrete, significant and time-limited negotiation on the nuclear issue.” But such an agreement “cannot be done in 72 hours on a napkin,” he had already said.

The United States will therefore give diplomacy every chance of success before exploring the “alternatives,” Rubio explained. His observations came after US President Donald Trump dampened expectations of an agreement, saying yesterday he had told his negotiators not to “rush.” “He’s not in a hurry, he won’t conclude a bad deal, and the president won’t make a bad deal,” said the US Secretary of State, referring to Trump.

Iran and the United States have reached a “basic agreement,” but its signature “is not imminent,” declared the spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baghaei, stating that “we have reached an agreement on most of the issues discussed, this is correct, but that does not mean that the signing of an agreement is imminent.”

“The goal of the negotiations is to end the war and, at this stage, we are not discussing the details of the nuclear issue,” Baghaei added, emphasizing: “Threats, pressure, representations and publications of caricatures are an integral part of the political landscape in that part of the world. We continue our work on the ground. We observe the facts, regardless of the perceptions and representations of the opposing side.”

The United States and Iran have thus reached a basic agreement to end the war, but the timing of the definitive approval of the agreement is uncertain. An American official outlined a different picture to the New York Times and CNN, contrasting with Rubio’s acceleration. The agreement – defined as a memorandum of understanding – would lead to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, a key transit point for 20% of global oil trade, and would begin to clarify the fate of Iran’s enriched uranium at 60%. The management of the material is still at the center of discussions, according to an anonymous source.

The modalities of disposing of stockpiles remain to be negotiated and will be the subject of the next phase of negotiations. US President Donald Trump is convinced that the United States will eventually gain possession of the uranium, defined by Trump as “nuclear dust.” The White House’s objective is essentially one: “Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.”

No information has come from Tehran on the topics being discussed. However, it appears obvious that the initial understanding would be a sort of framework in which more detailed elements would be inserted: the in-depth negotiations will require time, as explained also by Rubio. On Saturday, the New York Times recalled that three Iranian officials had predicted a 30-60 day window to discuss the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program. The timeline is confirmed by the official cited by Cnne NYT: the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) grants the parties “60 days to reach the final terms of the agreement.”

Only with the signing of an agreement, Trump clarified, would the removal of the naval blockade imposed by the United States be produced. According to the source, the agreement provides for the restoration of free navigation in the Strait of Hormuz “diminished and reopened to traffic”: however, the specific details on managing the waterway are still lacking. “The fundamental aspect of this framework is that if Iran does not comply with the agreements, it receives nothing. No nuclear dust? No dollars. As the Strait opens, the naval blockade will ease proportionally. It is a ‘trust but verify’ taken to the extreme.”
