The Home Office, Braverman's department, is now trying to suppress the video of the encounter.
That it took place at a constituency event means Braverman's Government department is acting on behalf of the minister on party lines, which is not allowed.
That the intention is to suppress the truth is a warning that Tories are using the state to protect themselves against the public interest.
