I mean it when I say the interface is like Blender's nodes, and would make newbies weep.
Played with Blender itself to mock up a screenshot of the kinda setup I'd want myself.
The rolodex lists all sources: #Rss, #Activitypub, tag-search, mail, lists, each of which can be filtered.
The sources are wired into groups which can also be filtered, including positive boost-filters to make them skip to the top of the queue.
The groups after filter lead to the streams.
The time-streams are actual-chronological ordered instead of backwards-cronological and when you return to the stream it places you where you left off. Able to skim either backwards or forwards from there. As you scroll past each message it's marked as read.
As well as react and replying and bookmarking you can enqueue each item to a queue page.
So when looking through the podcast stream, with filtered grouped RSS feeds in it, you could queue each interesting one to ListenLater.
Or enqueue messages to ReplyLater
Or other queues of your desire.
And that advanced page looks like this, gives everyone nervous fits, but gives power back.
Not software your gran can use, sure, but software your kid will use 20 years from now to organize and give her advantage in the digital age so she can escape being a cyber-surf fed to the oligarch's mind-control machines.
If only it were a week-end project. Then I could do it this week.
Is that an #algorithm ? It's not very like what the Big Social do.
