#Biden has his critics, but I am not aware of any other modern day western leader who would stand on a picket line with workers, respect due. #potus #NeverCrossAPicketLine

I'm a union member too. Tiny wish: It would be cool if US Americans would be more precise in their language and add "in the USA" instead of making universal statements. On a global platform like this, US Americans often write as if US rules/laws/culture etc. were universal. Seriously, that happens sooo often.
Unions, for example, work different in different countries. In Austria, where I live, sick pay is guaranteed by law and pay rises negotiated by the unions benefit all workers/employees in a certain sector, not just the union members. High union membership is, of course, still vital in order to keep the unions strong so that they can fight for workers' rights and to give them weight in the pay rise negotiations! One drawback of the Austrian union system is that many people (wrongly) think that union membership has no personal benefits, because the benefits are indirect instead if direct.
