Alas, poor Seagate Central NAS, I knew you well.
My NAS has died, after 14 years of solid continuous use.
I have backups.
It was mostly used to stream my media to my smart TV across my home network.
Not sure what to do as a replacement.
I am minded to be really lazy and just buy a USB external hardrive that can be plugged directly into the TV and keep that a dedicated media drive.
Any other suggestions are Weclome.

OK Geeks help me out. Who do you like for NAS drives these days? Want to expand mine... It's for backups so reliability is my priority. Currently have 4 HGST Deskstars which have been running solid since 2016; I'd get another but HGST/Hitachi doesn't exist anymore.
WD? Seagate?
