Two false alarms from the #NestProtect alarms this morning, first one before 8am (so before 7 really, with the clock change!). Support docs say to take them down and clean them so I’ll give that a go.
One issue this has highlighted is how long they take to tell you where the problem is.
*three loud beeps*
“Emergency!”
*three loud beeps*
“There’s smoke!”
*three loud beeps*
“In the bedroom!”
Even in my groggy just-woke-up panic, I was almost in the kitchen checking to see if the cats had turned the hob on and melted the kettle before it said the last bit. It should START with the location, and “there’s smoke in the bedroom” as one phrase would be better than two separate ones.
But good to know they wake me up in case of emergency, I guess!
