OMG - I don’t know if it is occipital neuralgia or some other thing, but man oh man! Shooting pain (grab your head and double over pain at its worst, lasting a few seconds) and a stiffer neck than I’ve ever had, along with muscle pain (and I am prone to neck and shoulder stiffness).

I went to the chiropractor on Monday when it was just starting to get bad and it seemed to help a bit, but things have been getting worse.

Went to my Physician on Wednesday because things were getting worse and she prescribed gabapentin which has certainly helped the shooting nerve pain at least. Ibuprofen helps a bit with the other pain. All leaves me a bit dopey. 😝

Headed for a massage today.

Physican ordered a CT scan and I go on Tuesday to rule out the really nasty stuff.

Anyone have experience with this? 🤕
