Lessons learned from running the HC Vesper last weekend:
-Good thing I brought two batteries. I swapped batteries after lunch and when I went to discharge them that night both were pretty depleted.
-The openings on the top of the magazines are sharp and scratchy. I need to sand them down a bit before next time. My fingers are scratched up from reloading.
-It's a lot of fun to shoot the Vesper. I felt like I spent more time reloading than playing.
-Despite my previous comments I did hold off on tagging children several times. I could have pinned them down in their spawn point but that would have broken the "Don't Be A Jerk" rule.
-The Vesper is really good for HvZ, until you run out of ammo.
-My front sight has to be further forward than I want because the control module is in the way, which makes the blaster front-heavy. I thought that would be annoying in use but turns out I didn't even notice.
