I had some trouble enabling ligatures in KDE Konsole. If you're wondering how to do it too:

Edit Current Profile → Appearance → Complex Text Layout and make sure Word Mode is enabled.

According to the Konsole Handbook:

"This allows Qt to render text correctly when the shape of a character depends on the characters before or after it."

I'm really liking Nerd Font-patched Monofur Mono and Propo? I am in general not an extreme fan of programming/monospace #fonts — I just tolerate the ones I can live with, out of necessity — but Monofur is whimsical and fun enough to be playful while the rounded, wide shapes help readability for me. Kinda like if Arial and Fantasque Mono had a cuddly weirdo love child
