The East Slovak Museum (Východoslovenské múzeum) in Košice is one of the oldest and most important museums in Slovakia. The building was constructed in 1901 specifically as a museum, in the Neo-Renaissance style.
In front of the building is a sign pointing to Wuppertal, one of Košice's two German sister cities.

All that remains of the former castle in Düsseldorf’s Old Town is this tower, located near the banks of the Rhine, which today houses a maritime museum. The castle was destroyed by a fire in 1872. The tower had been rebuilt in 1845 in the Italian Neo-Renaissance style.
Behind it stands St. Lambertus, the oldest church in the Old Town (built between 1288 and 1394).

Another one for #MonochromeMarch: #Wiesenburg Castle in all its #RenaissanceRevival glory.

This #castle (shown here from the rear, overlooking the gardens) has roots in the Middle Ages, though its current design dates back to the 19th century. From 1947 to 1992, it served as a (boarding) school. Afterward, the castle was restored and now houses modern private apartments, offices, and studios – none of which are open to the public.

#Groningen station has recently been beautifully renovated and drastically modified from a head-end station to a through-station. The station hall though is absolutely gorgeous!
