This morning I learned the Soup Kitchen in my #nyc neighborhood was $50k in the hole bc of fed grant cancellations

By midday I learned the entire neighborhood was throwing a fundraising party to feed mouthes uptown

This evening 100s of neighbors danced to Caribbean music & raised ❤️❤️&💰💰

Spent the afternoon volunteering at a local Repair Café event, and it was a ton of fun! Got to spend time with new people in my community, and get my hands into some fun gadgets I wouldn't normally.

This #Chickadee #sticker was a response to #Vermont floods in 2023; a portion of proceeds are always donated either to Vermont Community Foundation or to a local organization that's been affected by flooding or is helping people who were. Needed them again this summer, and still have some.
