Day 21 of the Dao Life Lunar Calendar is an “Active, High Energy” day. It is designed to leap forward in physical and mental progress. Focus on stamina, brain health, and a liver detox. This makes it the perfect day to incorporate a balanced workout routine.

Beginners can enhance their flexibility, build upper-body strength, and engage in moderate-intensity cardio to energize and detoxify the body. Advanced exercisers can move forward in their workout progress and push it a little harder today.

Start with light to moderate stretching to warm up. Then, transition into gentle to moderate strength training for the upper body. Conclude with moderate to max HIIT cardio to boost endurance and circulation. The following holistic exercise routine suggestions align with the active energy of this lunar day.

Beginner Routine

Focus: Flexibility, gentle strength, and moderate cardio for liver detox and energy.

  • Warm-Up (5 minutes):
    • Qigong joint opening exercises (smooth, circular movements for shoulders, wrists, and hips).
  • Stretching (10 minutes):
    • Forward Bend (stretch hamstrings and lower back).
