Nagroda Hugo, o której pisaliśmy jakiś czas temu, od połowy lat 60. konkuruje o tytuł najważniejszej nagrody w dziedzinie fantastyki z wyróżnieniem przyznawanym przez Stowarzyszenie Amerykańskich Pisarzy Fantasy i Science Fiction – Nebulą. Prestiż obu nagród wydaje się porównywalny, choć na okładkach nagrodzonych książek częsciej przeczytamy „Laureat Hugo i Nebuli” niż „Laureat Nebuli i Hugo”.
