A clean, straight throw undone by a lamppost, bouncing the disc away at the last moment.

Look closely at this. When I took the picture I only saw the wingtip of my plane and the contrail of another going the opposite way, probably miles away. But here you can see, moving perpendicular to both my plane and the one in the distance, the outline of another jet, banking steeply. I didn’t see that plane! I wonder now if I captured a near miss.
