Long ago, when wee little Us was first learning about the nazis, it's always stood out like an odd detail to Us that how there were lamps and books made of human skin.

Sure, in terms of cruelty, We can believe that those were produced, given all the other "creative" stuff they'd been up to with the holocausts, but, "who would buy this", We thought - how could there possibly be enough interest from the general population to maintain a thing of which the acquisition and possession is so obviously linked to the suffering, exploitation, disfiguration and perverse context annihilation of the human makeup required for its very existence that it makes itself impossible to ignore?

Today, We look at the way "#AI" is treated by folks at large, and We wish We could still be wondering about this seemingly implausible aspect of a presumed bygone era of unprecedented cruelty so bad that surely this world would try their best to avoid happening another time.

“Jewish identity is treated as a reputational risk. Jewish themes in #art are treated as inherently political and provocative, even when the work contains no reference to #Israel or contemporary geopolitics. Jewish #artists are advised by their own agents to remain invisible.”

In addition to more covert forms of #antisemitism, Jewish respondents described a “sharp escalation in explicit #antisemitic content within their professional circles”, including “the casual use of #Holocaust comparisons and accusations of #Nazism directed at Jewish artists purely based on their heritage”.
