One of Patriot Front's newest recruits is a former Navy SEAL combat medic who put his thumb on the scales, possibly committing perjury, to help a war criminal evade accountability.
Corey Noel Scott of Oklahoma testified during a court martial in 2019 that he himself killed an unarmed captive who had been stabbed, without provocation, by his platoon leader while they were stationed in Iraq. That testimony seems to have played a big part in getting the platoon leader acquitted of murder charges.
The trial happened during Trump's first term, and then-Fox "News" host Pete Hegseth personally intervened on behalf of the defendant in that case (a defendant who had openly bragged about actually stabbing the victim in text messages).
The Informant got hold of Scott's secret Patriot Front recruitment interview notes, in addition to finding his X/Twitter account (which he promptly deleted after he was contacted about it). All of it points toward explicitly neo-nazi views.

El Senado de la República Mexicana decidió aplazar la discusión sobre la autorización para el ingreso de efectivos Navy Seals y del Séptimo Grupo de Fuerzas Especiales de Estados Unidos a México. La solicitud fue presentada por la presidente Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo para abordarse en una sesión extraordinaria prevista para enero de 2026. La resolución legislativa modificó el calendario inicialmente considerado para ese análisis.
Durante su tradicional conferencia de prensa desde Palacio Nacional, explicó que la decisión del Senado fue porque no había más temas para invocar una reunión de la Sesión Permanente; esta acción generó cuestionamientos públicos sobre un posible vínculo con acciones recientes del gobierno de Estados Unidos en territorio de Venezuela. Dichas acciones incluyeron una operación para capturar al presidente Nicolás Maduro. Legisladores y analistas señalaron la coincidencia temporal entre ambos hechos.
Sheinbaum Pardo rechazó cualquier relación entre el aplazamiento legislativo y los acontecimientos ocurridos en Venezuela. La mandataria explicó que el tema obedeció exclusivamente a la agenda parlamentaria vigente. También precisó que el procedimiento siguió los cauces constitucionales establecidos.

La presidente Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo explicó que la autorización requería aprobación del Pleno del Senado. Indicó que no se convocó a sesión extraordinaria debido a la existencia de otras iniciativas prioritarias. El análisis se reprogramó para el inicio del periodo ordinario de sesiones en febrero.
La mandataria recordó que el ingreso de fuerzas extranjeras a México constituyó un procedimiento regulado por la Constitución. Señaló que estas autorizaciones se tramitaron de forma recurrente en administraciones anteriores. El Ejecutivo remitió la solicitud conforme a los mecanismos legales vigentes.
Sheinbaum Pardo precisó que no existió urgencia adicional que justificara una sesión extraordinaria exclusiva. El Senado optó por resolver el tema junto con otros asuntos ordinarios. La decisión fue comunicada de manera institucional. –sn–
