Last week my brother & sister walked part of the Pennine Way between Hawes and Dufton. We had an interesting conversation about how the path next to Cauldron Snout in Upper Teesdale is surprisingly difficult for a national trail.

It's immediately next to turbulent fast running water, across rocks & boulders, and requires use of hands in places. A suitable impression can be got from the attached video, provided by my brother, and taken from secure vantage points.
