Finally got into some wilderness and recalibrated my brain. Started in evergreen forest, uphill into beech forest, down between dunes covered in beech, out into the open dunes, to a bog where I spent 20 mins harvesting cranberries, then back along pretty pond. #hiking #NationalSeashore #ProvinceLands #PTown #getoutside

A final #foraging count from one week in the dunes: 1.5 gal (5.6 L) of wild cranberries, but zero, as in not a single beach plum (whereas last year in the same location I harvested 16 lb of beach plums).
