National Day of Unplugging takes places over sunset on the first Friday in March (for this year is on Mar 3 to 4). Annually, this was created to spend time away from our screens for 24 hours and instead spend time in nature, connecting with loved ones, and relaxing. Smartphones, computers, gaming systems, and smart TVs may not fill every nook and cranny, but gradually these devices are taking up residence and bandwidth in our homes and brains.
