AI models that can take down g...

🚨NEW: From #cybersecurity to #natsec, AI is now a core component of critical infrastructure. Our society & gov’s dependence makes understanding the technical DNA of AI systems crucial to risk management.
Our new paper makes the case for a shared vision of AI Bills of Materials - #AIBOM
We argue that a future in which orgs can effectively manage AI supply chain risk will require AIBOMs: “A common understanding will drive creation of tools, automation, and repeatable processes.”
🔎 The need for a cross-sector specification layer aimed at processes and tools that addresses the availability, utility, and consistency of data.
📝 Two practical courses of action policymakers can implement today to encourage AI vendors to manage risk,

And last time I checked the #NYDFS didn't have juristiction over #Finance in #Germany, but @BaFin did.
- Or did @Bundesregierung delegate that to New York?

And thus it's a threat to #NatSec of every #EU member to do businesses with the #USA and espechally #GAFAMs like #aws who by law act as #agents on behalf of the #US government.

Imagine if #Germany (or the #EU) told the #USA they're not to resell certain stuff to certain nations.
- The State Department would give *us* a finger on Live-TV and tell us "fuck off" and "deal with it!"...
And thus the EU and espechally Germany need to fucking grow a spine and not allow legal businesses to be blackmailed!
- I wish for @Bundesregierung & @AuswaertigesAmt to consider the #USA's economic blackmail as a threat to #NatSec!
