No #PPPoE, no #CDC #ACM; everything gets #NAT ted through ZTE's proprietary #firmware and forwarding plane, so it is not suitable for use with #OPNsense other than as an emergency backup. Fortunately, its default IPv4 assignment didn't clash with my home #LAN, unlike the knockoff pretending to be a #Huawei part which arrived earlier this week.

Don't "bring back #IPv4 habits", but networks hit real constraints. 🤷♂️ If your internal v6 addressing is tied to an #ISP prefix, then multi-homing, provider changes, or failover get messy. Renumbering is painful and running #BGP everywhere is unrealistic for branch designs. In those cases, v6-to-v6 translation, #NPTv6 (prefix translation), can be a practical shim to keep a stable internal prefix and translate it to the provider prefix at the edge.

Alex@rtnVFRmedia Suffolk UKJust over a month and I've tamed all the #trunks (with abundant snake heads at the end), made sure 1500+ #blighters are yeeted (with more trying every day) got inter #PBX #trunk working between on-premises and cloud #FreePBX - just waiting for porting of first analogue number to check this (and CLID presentation) works and then main office one can follow.
Took many late evenings, a lot of research of everything from old #BritishTelecom training manuals to some from Universities in India and the Indian telecom companies, and I've learned a lot more about #SIP even since 2008 when I built the first #VOIP #PBX used at work.
Thankfully #routers seem to handle #SIP over #NAT a lot better than they used to (even got an extension it working over #LTE with #Linphone)

Does anyone believe that Australian Liberal or Nat politicians are in politics for anything but self enrichment?
They will cultivate miners, big business, bankers and cosy up to the demented #USA govt in order to gain power and control, increase their personal assets and set themselves up for a future beyond government.
Look at the present occupations of Cormann, Hockey, Downer, Pyne and the slimy Morrison. Just a few examples, check Wiki.
All now on boards, or partners in consultancy, or advisory capacities, only through their previous liaisons and political networking.
Not saying this doesn't happen to some extent w others, but at least #Labor, #Greens and #Inds attempt to seek improvement during their time in parliament rather than continuously oppose, destroy or subvert for their personal benefit.
awlnxNow my little bandwidth-monitor project for OpenWRT and Linux Routers is pretty complete.
It supports Adguard Home, Pi-hole and nextdns.io for the DNS tab. And has a Unifi integration to get the Wifi Status. (Might add Omada later)
Additionally I added a Speedtest capability and some Debugging Features.
