I haven't been able to find any mashups online of this short stop-motion film. May have to make one myself, as it seems like the perfect way to take the "POLKA" and "MAZURKA" special visual effects (you see the words coming out of the horn in two scenes) and turn it into something modern - like a Weird Al clip. But even without a modern mashup, this is a fun film. This was around the time records were replacing wax cylinders, and I imagine that this scenario was inspired by the technology, as we can see in Rosalie's excitement. Another

Lea in slapstick acrobatic rollerskating! Interesting to see how she tightens up her skates with a key wrench of some kind. She essentially turns into jello on wheels for the rest of the film. There's some missing frames, or just sloppy editing in this one, but it's not hard to get the gist of what's happening. 1 of 3 Lea (Italian) shorts on the 2022 #NastyWomen box set. #cinemastodon #silentfilm
