Struggled on today's (short) 14 km walk. Maybe because I was trying Nordic walking. 9:12 per km and 114 bpm which was a moderately moderate 76%. Slow time, fast heart rate. And my shoulders were killing me. Ah well. I do all this stuff and I still get older, what gives?

I feel almost entirely unqualified to give guitar lessons. I've never had any, and don't really consider myself much of a guitar player, though I have improved a lot since retiring from Army. (I'm not even a particularly good bass player, but the bar is lower.)
But I then just got a really nice email from the #Guitars4Vets #Nashville coordinator thanking me for joining the program and that I'm an "amazing" teacher and I feel like maybe the bar is pretty low for guitar instructors, too.
