Today we've been on the most sacred of druidic pilgrimages, to the source of all life and inspiration. We journeyed through the blessed #Nantlle valley, following a vision from the great god of #coffee beans. There we found #Poblado Coffee. Our absolute favourite coffee. We've always bought tons of the stuff online or from other local shops but never from the roastery itself. It was very nice to see the beans being roasted and to absorb the many complex smells during the process.

#Celtic #FairyTaleTuesday: The #Nantlle Valley is famous within #Wales for being the main setting of the Fourth branch of the #Mabinogi, Math fab Manawydan, the story of #Lleu Llaw Gyffes, Blodeuwedd and Gwydion. The story is set mainly in the area with Gwydion finding Lleu transfigured into an eagle in an oak tree at Baladeulyn (the ground that used to exist between the two lakes before industrialisation). There are numerous references to the valley in the #Welsh Triads (Trioedd Ynys Prydain) as well.
