In 2016, I used a #BeagleBone Black to provide data/power interfaces to various systems on a #cubesat. A specialized variant of the board was used for the flight payload (radiation-hardened, no tin, etc, because #space), but here is one under test. The power distribution board was created with @kicad!

The solitary BBB undergoes 1PPS signal integrity checks on an oscilloscope. The workbench BBB ensures that all signals comply with the #NanoRacks External Platform communication specifications.

Two super-cute mission patches from Nanoracks for their Canadian CubeSat Project, for which 5 CubeSats (one from each Canadian province) launched on CRS-28 yesterday. The CubeSats will be deployed from the ISS.
