Casual CatteI made it! It was a rough month full of all kinds of obstacles IRL, a lot of stressors that really sapped my creative energy. There are plenty of days just getting my 1667 was a ~slog~ and those passages are likely absolute trash, but I still pushed through. It's been mentally exhausting and I wasn't sure I was going to make it at one point, but hey...

Serenasigh I was so proud of myself the other day for writing over 5K words in a day. I thought I’d finish my 50K words today.
Alas, Black Friday weekend fever caught up with me and I spent the whole day out shopping.
Whew, finally hit 45K words. It was real touch-and-go there with my dismal daily word count mid-week, but I rallied and pulled through.
Although if you look at my daily word count history, you can see I'm not a very consistent writer to begin with; over 3K one day, then only a few hundred a couple days later.

Twelve days in and I'm a little over 23K words. My daily word count over the last few days has not been impressive and I've been eating away at the margin I've given myself earlier on in the month.
I definitely need to get back in the groove.

But I’m about to have to renew my subscription. I don’t like subscriptions for apps like this. So today, instead of #writing when I had a chance I started trying out new apps, so that I won’t have to pay. #nano2023 #nanowrimo #nanowrimo2023
I've had a few days this week where I managed 1 sprint, which was nowhere near enough to stay on par. Having said that, I'm still within the realms of recoverability!
Wish me luck, let's see where I get by day 15...
