WELP, I finally tried Bengaluru's Namma Metro, that too all 3 of the currently active lines in the network.
Loved the fact that they still use tokens, but really hate how the fares are much higher than other systems for smaller journeys spanning a couple of stops.
How stupid do these political parties really think we, the citizens of #Bangalore, are?
Actually, we must be, because we keep electing the same rotating cast of insidious politicians into power again and again. 😥

Saw someone wearing a #MoveInSync t-shirt in #NammaMetro yesterday and was *so tempted* to accost them to give in-person feedback on this garbage of an app. 😤
(Bug-reports via the app, email-feedback, etc. seemingly go to /dev/null. 😒)
Meanwhile, the HSR-Iblur stretch has been jammed every morning for the past few weeks due to #NammaMetro construction.
The #Metro crushes you in #Bangalore, whether you take it or not. 😓
I paid ₹76 today, instead of ₹47.5, for my usual route on #NammaMetro – that’s a hike of 60% overnight! 😰
That’s more than 6% YoY across 8 years since the last revision. 🧐
No wonder the #Metro was less crowded today. 😓
