@metro.co.uk No, the problem is antizionist hate mobs. See attached image.
The “antizionist gaze” is a real thing. The spike in hate crimes is indeed very alarming.
The antizionist gaze is obsessive, hateful, creepy, and racist. It is often a prelude to violence.
If we want to reduce antizionist violence, then we need to quell the rampant antizionist hate mobs in our cities. Accountability can only occur after naming the oppressor.
There is NO such thing as a “proud antizionist.”
Because deep down, they know it is a hate movement.
All they have is “but #antizionism isn’t #antisemitism” or “but i’m just criticizing #Israel.”
Naming the oppressor is incredibly powerful. Once you do that, they tend to slink & slither away (for the most part.)
#Antizionism is a hate movement.
Antizionism is genocide.
There is nothing pro-Palestinian about antizionism.
#Antizionism is a racist, obsessive gaze
Antizionism is not "opposition to zionism," it is a hate movement.
Antisemitism is not "opposition to semitism," it is a hate movement.
Antizionism constructs the "zionist" as the world's ultimate boogeyman. It does this by obsessively repeating libels.
Antisemitism, now greatly marginalized, used to construct the "international Jew" as the world's ultimate boogeyman. It did this by obsessively repeating libels.
Are there opportunities for you to name this hate movement?
Antizionists spread libels to mark Jews for violence.
It’s a hate movement. Name it.
