THIS was my favorite gift from all the Christmas vinyl I received this year.
I friggin love Naked Raygun SO MUCH. I came to them REALLY late in life. It took me until the late 90s to discover just how awesome they were, starting with JETTISON.
This pressing sounds INFINITELY better than previous ones; way punchier, and way more dynamic than the awful 2022 version.
One of the great underrated bands ever.
This was one of two Naked Raygun albums I was given for Christmas. I was also given All Rise, both by the same very good friend.
I love all of their records, but Jettison is my favorite. It’s where my love affair with them started, and the one I revisit the most.
Now that I have a great sounding vinyl version of it, I’ll be cranking it even more.

Probably my first time seeing the scrawny yet still freakishly imposing Albini backed by his drum machine "Roland" , with that edgy guitarist Santiago Durango on one side of Albini and on the other, at least for ths tour was Jeff Pezzati (also known as lead vox of #Chicago sound stalwarts #NakedRaygun with whom Durango spent time in as well. Later tours featured the formidable scarface bassist Dave Riley)
