I learned a new word over the weekend: kevättalvi - 'spring winter'. Used to describe the period in late winter, where you can feel spring in the air, but it hasn't *quite* arrived yet. I think it's fair to say kevättalvi has arrived here in the South, and in honor of the recent sunshine and above zero temps, I felt compelled to paint my nails in some bright colors. Did a skittle on my left hand, and just the green on my right, because we can't be getting too colorful, two skittles would be ~crazy~ (/j).

All Holo Taco, pinky to thumb: Butterscotch Hop, Cyantific, Work Bestie, Oh My Gourd, and Not Pressed. All topped with Black Flake Taco and Gold Flake Taco.

Spring has arrived in nature and on my nails. Very untypical colours for me, but sometimes it's fun to leave the beaten track.
Wearing three coats of "Twilight Skies" by Chameleon Nails, a UV sensitive polish. It changes from pink in the shade to a light purple when exposed to UV light. #nails #nailpolish #manicure

Been getting my nails done regularly for almost 2 years and my wife still exclaims "You got your nails done?!" every time. She usually gets over it after a day, but it's still remarkable how sticky socialization can be. #NailPolish should not be gender-exclusive.
