Nadia Reid returns with Hold It Up, a stunning new single from her highly anticipated album Enter Now Brightness, her first in five years. Written during lockdown in her Dunedin home, as Reid describes, it’s about “being in love with the world” and embracing the humanity in everyone, even those we may not immediately relate to.The track is accompanied by a visually poetic video, directed by Sunbed and supported by NZ On Air. Shot on Piha Beach’s windswept coastline, the video captures Reid walking along the shoreline as dancer Oli Mathiesen mirrors the song’s emotional weight with expressive movements. The result is a beautiful fusion of music, memory, and movement.The alöbum is set to release on February 7th via Chrysalis Records.
