A magnanimous rejection of the privledges committee reccomendation would show leadership, reinforce his supposed rejection of the #treatyPrinciplesBill to pull away from #ACT & possibly deflate some #TePātiMāori's support.
Instead, he sticks with his gormless position of "the rules are the rules" just as he did with his housing entitlement. #nzpol #NactionalFirst
