Another NaNoWriMo in the books. The first three weeks were fun, but I've been sick all week, so it's been a total slog. I wrote 50k of short stories again, and ended up with three longer stories and lots of stories around 1600 words. Now my goal is to keep the habit going! I'm committing to write 250 words a day or spend 15 minutes editing my own work. The real goal is to prioritize my own craft each day. As an editor, I struggle to make time for my own work.
I ended with this exchange, which felt very fitting:
*“Darling,” he calls.*
*Ed feels the fog in his mind vanish. “Hmm?”*
*“Get over here, love.”*
