All's fair in love, the #thursday #NYTimesCrossword and the #proCycling #springClassics. @soaproot knows the Thursday crossword. As for cycling: in stage races, it's considered uncool to attack one of the race leaders when they've been involved in a crash or had a mechanical. In the spring classics, which are all one day races and usually ridiculously long and grueling, there is no race leader going in, so if a favorite falls? Attack away. Flat tire on the cobblestones? Bummer dude, we're out.
I need a new #wordPuzzle game. Been doing one of those swipy-swipy ones with 6 or 7 letters that you can only use once each and there are many reasons I want a different kind of word game. I already do a the #NYTimesCrossword and the other puzzles from them every day. Any suggestions?
Lower turnout than I hoped, but the results are as I expected. This was inspired by the #NYTimesCrossword using "huh-uh" in a clue, which is insane to me.
The cutesy gimmick on this morning's #NYTimesCrossword was about the dumbest one I've seen and that's saying a lot.
Spoiler : Total BS that #NYTimesCrossword didn’t accept Tic Tac here (insisting on tit tat).
The Sunday crossword is a #REBUS?! #NYTimes is punishing us for the walkout. #NYTimesCrossword #NYTimesPuzzles
Good morning, Mastodon. Reading many wonderful introductory toots, I see that mine was perhaps too narrowly focused on #coffee #tea #angrybirds2 and #nytimescrossword. Therefore, I won’t bore you with any kind of account of my #brewing and #gaming this chilly a.m. except to point out that A) mastodon is the answer to a clue in today’s puzzle and B) mine is the very first use of #tea. May there be many more esp from all #puer and or #puerh addicts I mean fans. To flesh things out a bit, I would like to share some of my other interests which include #cardgames #scrabble #lexulous #gardening #powerlifting #reading #poetry #crimefiction #dykeliness #destroyingpatriarchalnorms #Feminisms and dismantling my own interior racist/sexist/classist thinking not to mention spinning out elaborate fantasies about how to punish the bad guys in this world starting with oil company executives and the orange-haired narcissist and his minions. Sadly this does conflict with #buddhism which I practice and profess. Om
