Fifth piece from my 7-part series for Yellow Sun Coffee. This one's particularly personal; NYC is home for both me and Yellow Sun, rendered as the Statue of Liberty against a radiant yellow sun. I liked the blur between abstract and literal here. ~About 28 hours. I liked the contrast between the matte black paper and reflective yellow ink.

Third piece from my 7-part series for Yellow Sun Coffee. After two pieces on black paper with dip pen, I shifted to white paper with rOtring isograph. Hand-coloured sun and water bring organic warmth to the mechanical rays and sea; the ink has a subtle golden sparkle. About 13 hours, 1,260 feet of travel, 0.3mm pen.
