Think Big, the AI industry super PAC, spent another $2.1 million this week in #NY12 primary opposing Alex Bores, mostly on TV ads.

That brings the Leading the Future affiliate's total opposing Bores to $6.3 million, bankrolled by OpenAI, a16z, et al. Early voting starts June 13.

What we're seeing at Delaney Hall is symptomatic of what we saw in Minneapolis and across the country. It needs to stop. We need to abolish ICE, and we must restore a sensible, legal, and humane immigration policy. #NY12

I won't be ranking Bores, nor Schlossberg NOR Conway. I will miss Jerry Nadler. #primary #primaries2026 #primaries #nyc #ny #ny12 #newyork #newyorkcity #vote #election2026 #election #elections

EDIT: It's not a ranked choice vote LOL! I forgot we don't get them for federal elections. Such bullshit. I won't be coting for any if the mentioned clowns.

AI COMPANIES TRIED TO BURY THIS POLITICIAN — NOW PEOPLE HAVE ACTUALLY HEARD OF HIM

When Dem primary for #NY12 wraps up, #Anthropic & #OpenAI will've spent millions on battling the political future of AI: who gets to regulate it, or who will be punished for trying to regulate it. The real winner of their feud is the guy they’re currently fighting: a once-obscure NY state assemblyman, who they’ve Streisand-effected into becoming the poster child for AI safety regulation

AI tried to bury this politician — now people have actually heard of him

When all is said and done, Anthropic and OpenAI will have spent millions in their political proxy war. But the real winner may be the guy they’re currently fighting over.

And this is probably before the publication in the Times of the damaging article about the “chaotic” race of Mr Schlossberg .

(And was also very gracious to Clara that he met yesterday)

"The 33-year-old grandson of President John F. Kennedy, running in one of the most closely watched Democratic congressional primaries in the country to represent New York’s 12th District, is announcing on Sunday afternoon a two-part proposal he calls the “No Pay PrEP & PEP Plan,” which his campaign describes as a first-of-its-kind national effort to make HIV prevention drugs completely free at the point of care. Central to the plan is a head-on confrontation with Kennedy, his first cousin and the Trump administration’s secretary of Health and Human Services, over what Schlossberg calls a catastrophic rollback of federal HIV prevention funding."

Jack Schlossberg wants free PrEP for all — and for his cousin to stop undermining HIV care (exclusive)

"I actually don’t know what they care about,” Schlossberg told The Advocate of Trump and RFK Jr., adding, “But it’s not helping the American people.”

AI Super PACs Are Unleashing Millions to Tilt Primaries in Their Favor

So far, the industry groups have won nearly all the races they’ve thrown their money at, helping to advance allies who could help shape AI legislation in the next Congress.

"I’m headed to #Minneapolis this morning. The people there are putting themselves on the line. We are all searching for ways to fight back, and I'll be sharing resources from the ground for New Yorkers to support their efforts." Micah Lasher, Candidate for #NY12. #NewYork #Minnesota
On a related note: #NY12 & #NY15 are only a few miles apart. Talk about socioeconomic contrast:
