Mommy dearest, mommy sweet,
Your love for me was so deep,
“Why, oh, why?”, you shouted out,
When my knife pierced through your heart.

innocent:
You broke my legs, I couldn't walk,
You pulled my teeth, I couldn't talk,
You fed me pills to slow my mind,
I took your life 'fore you took mine.

guilty:
You were, oh, so kind to me,
Filled my heart with joy and glee,
In the end, it was for naught,
"Why, oh, why?", you ask. Why not?

The Silent Hill 2 gallows puzzle involves a series of poems about the judgement of criminals, requiring the player to match fragmented verses and ultimately choose the noose of the morally guilty.

Monthly Highlights: September 2025

Here are some pieces I've done in September (2025) that I'm extremely proud of! These were super fun to work on and I'm very satisfied with how they came out!

(these are in in no particular order) - Reminder that My full commission sheet is listed here.

All images are cropped to fit in my highlights sheet, click the links below to view the full images.

Art I'm proud of

Fullbody for, SelfDugGrave 🫀

I've been meaning to get this one done for months now...and I fell behind. This shows off an expression of exactly how hard Velvet works, and how intense the internals are!

Icon for, Balloonpup ✨

Always have fun with shiny textures, and a bonus to do more high strangeness with Yinglets! Here's hoping I get to play more with shiny textures! Yay!

Adopt for, TheHousepets 🍉

I've been trying to find forever homes for these adopts I designed so long ago. They never took off but now they found a new home, and I got to throw in some really cool icons for free! This icon got me on trouble for how "real" it is...but it's just fruit so...I guess? This image pushed my account to be tagged as NSFW or now NSFL with new disclaimers and warnings. I guess congratulations me, but also damn.

Fullbody Illustration for, Sifu_Burb 🩸

I like birds. I like drawing gore. Combo!!! More so that this is just in time for spooky season, with a lycanthrope vibe going on here. I'm very happy with how this came out. Fun fact, did you know I had to redraw this TWICE because the original file got corrupted. Twice. Fun.

BLANK for, BLANK ⬛

Due to the extreme stress of last month, I was unable to produce one extra piece I was proud of. Technically there is one, but the client was so bad I decided against it. If you know, you know. Whatever.

Thank you to everyone who made our (stressful) September (2025) more tolerable. Your support, both on Ko-Fi and via direct commissions! | Bluish Gecko, GalaxyCoffin, Katlyn, KatonNexus, Lady Juju, Myriad, Nicole Vazquez, Ninouche, Noah thedutch, Pyrous, PyxelSquibbles, Quiche, Reo, theHousepets, ZalVertex

Bonus thank you to those who have decided to also support @velvet over on, BMC (link)

For dinner:::
Boiled hot dogs with relish, onion, Dijon mustard, and cheese. For buns, two are on half a pita bread, the other on a slice of sandwich bread. For a side, I'm having air fryer tater tots.

No pics because it's #nsfl
