I know almost nothing about Lana del Rey, maybe because I'm not 25. This song is a groove, a total earworm for me. The lyrics are refreshing in some ways: a pure celebration of love without a dark twist or ominous undercurrent. Apparently (thanks, #NPRmusic) Ms. del Rey has caught some flak for choosing to do take a fairly hegemonic/traditional wife-type role in her marriage (I think this is about her husband). The fourth-wave (?) response is that women can be who they want to be, so she can be this. But this better not be some MAGA-adjacent #tradwife bullshit. I would find that very disappointing because I really like the song.

Aside: is song.link all crowdourced? I found so many songs there for a couple of years that I assumed it was running on code scraping songs from all over. In the past half year or so, however, I've found very few of the songs I've looked for. I finally noticed that you can post a YouTube, Spotify, etc. URL yourself.
