Het ronde witte vlekje rechts onder het midden is het Lago Salina Grande, een zoutmeer. De vierkante wolk (linksboven) bestaat uit enkele aaneen gegroeide zogeheten lenswolken die aan de lijzijde van de Andes (links buiten beeld) zijn ontstaan. Beeld @nasa
