I'm a serial writer, so yes, I know ahead of time. I don't usually know how many volumes it will be.

Very.
Which means I use the usage of the time period in which things are set. Including slang of THAT time.
One of the features of #TimeTravelingGhost is the clash and confusion of a 2025 person talking with a 1930's woman.

There is a Japanese contest for foreign writers in which I may enter a few stories.
Not new, but I need to kick up my reading of Edo fiction to get a better feel for how the people viewed themselves at the time. I bought two new books and hope to read them while in the backwoods next week.

Every year, I take part in PIXIV's Charity Santa program, raising money for literacy. It's not a huge amount, but it's something.
