After six days waiting on a weather window, Drew finally hiked the AT up to Mt Washington (on 3/5, video out this morning). Some great views.
We didn't get the 2" they forecasted last night (maybe 1/2") but the snow is picking up again. The last week melted away all but the deepest snow in the yard while our fat biking trails are a wide mix of frozen snow, ice sheets, mud, running water, and frozen dirt. If variety is the spice of life, then it's pretty spicy!

Running through icy graveyard was an ominous start, but good primer for the rail trail. Crows near start of rail trail along with incredibly strong skunk odor, but nothing in sight.

Just looked and temperature is in the 50's (10Β°C), which seemed odd since it was mid-40's just a bit ago. Humidity 93% and seems like a little shower went through. Weather Underground shows a band of 50+ temps wedged in between mid-30's and 40's in our area, so something moved in. Not to worry, down below freezing tonight through Sunday, 50's and rain Monday, then next week more freezing weather.
