2 years waiting time for cancer treatment referral !?
I sent this graph to my South Ribble Tory MP Katherine Fletcher with the simple question:
"Can she please explain the trend of rapidly rising NHS waiting times under Conservative government and rapidly falling waiting times under Labour"
She failed even to attempt to answer the question and instead trotted out a series of 'jam tomorrow' Tory promises.
One very worrying statement was:
"By 2025, no one should be waiting more than a year for elective care in the NHS, and waiting times for referral to treatment for cancer care should return to pre-pandemic levels. Having met its target that no one should be waiting longer than two years"
