gleich geht unser @thecarpentries workshop zu „unix bash, git und GitLab“ los. Mit dabei natürlich das @fdm_nrw eichhörnchen. eine Kooperation von @dkz2r , #NHR4CES , #HPC.nrw und #MATSE

An evening run through Darmstadt on the occasion of the 2024 NHR Conference. (NHR is a consortium of 9 HPC centers in Germany, and Aachen/Darmstadt NHR4CES is one of them). It was nice to visit Mathildenhöhe again!

🎉 I‘m happy to announce that I was invited as keynote speaker for this year‘s ParaView User Day Europe! 🇪🇺

In the last couple of years at #NHR4CES we have been working towards bringing visualization to the HPC community, while also enabling visualization scientists to make use of HPC infrastructure. 🤝

In this journey, #ParaView has played an essential part (with all its up- and downsides 😅).

I’m excited to talk about that journey this September in Lyon 🇫🇷 and connect with users and researchers

Here we are last week, at the #NHR4CES https://www.nhr4ces.de team event with Felipe and Tobias.

Our Simulation and Data Lab "Fluids" offers, among others, training on the topics of flow simulation. See the LinkedIn post:

I finally arrived at the #NHR conference in #Berlin - today, I‘ll present our project on a curated #Visualization Database - a collaboration between #NHR4CES and #NHRSW. Looking forward to input from the community!

My colleagues and me at the CSG #Visualization have published an open-source framework for geodesic ray tracing.

Happy relativistic rendering :)

I guess it's time for my #introduction as well.

My name is Tim, I work as a #visualization researcher and lead the visualization group at RWTH #Aachen University in Germany as well as the Cross-Sectional Group Visualization at #NHR4CES.

Besides that, I enjoy making music, drawing, design, and starting small projects every now and then. I cohost a German podcast.

I'm excited to see how #Mastodon develops over time and hope to use this more often than I used twitter :D
